ThingWorx est la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 qui a cr\u00e9\u00e9 la cat\u00e9gorie des plateformes d&#039;applications IoT industrielles et a sans doute \u00e9t\u00e9 la start-up la plus performante dans le domaine de l&#039;IIoT, acquise par PTC d\u00e9but 2014. L&#039;acquisition de ThingWorx a \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re acquisition non en difficult\u00e9 dans le domaine et a directement conduit \u00e0 la vague d\u2019acquisitions qui ont remodel\u00e9 le paysage de l\u2019IIoT.<\/p>\r\n<p>Avant de fonder Augmentir, j&#039;ai plong\u00e9 assez profond\u00e9ment dans le march\u00e9 d&#039;Enterprise AR et j&#039;ai trouv\u00e9 que cela me rappelait le premier espace IIoT - fragment\u00e9 avec de nombreuses entreprises occupant des niches\u00a0:<\/p>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Constructeurs de solutions personnalis\u00e9es autour des lunettes intelligentes<\/li>\r\n<li>Constructeurs de solutions verticales<\/li>\r\n<li>Fournisseurs de verre intelligent<\/li>\r\n<li>Fournisseurs de technologie<\/li>\r\n<li>Et plus<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.gartner.com\/en\/documents\/3874883\">Gartner<\/a> La r\u00e9cente publication du \u00ab Magic Quadrant \u00bb de l\u2019IIoT \u00e9tait \u00e0 la fois r\u00e9affirmante et d\u00e9cevante. C&#039;\u00e9tait personnellement r\u00e9affirmant de voir que ThingWorx, sous la direction de Jim Heppelmann, PDG de PTC, occupe la position \u00ab la plus magique \u00bb dans l&#039;espace IIoT. Cependant, il est d\u00e9cevant de constater qu\u2019apr\u00e8s dix ans, l\u2019espace IIoT n\u2019a pas encore \u00ab franchi le gouffre \u00bb, comme en t\u00e9moigne le fait qu\u2019aucun fournisseur ne figure dans LE Magic Quadrant.<\/p>\r\n<p>Pourquoi l&#039;IIoT, un espace qui a tant d&#039;histoires de retour sur investissement convaincantes, serait-il toujours coinc\u00e9 entre les premiers utilisateurs et le grand public\u00a0? J&#039;ai un point de vue \u00e0 ce sujet - bien que les solutions IIoT puissent \u00eatre extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9cieuses et transformatrices, elles doivent \u00eatre faciles \u00e0 poss\u00e9der afin de parvenir \u00e0 une adoption g\u00e9n\u00e9ralis\u00e9e. L&#039;IIoT est tout sauf &quot;facile \u00e0 poss\u00e9der&quot;: cela commence par le processus de vente d&#039;entreprise traditionnel \u00e0 friction \u00e9lev\u00e9e, les longs pilotes, la tarification co\u00fbteuse et &quot;bas\u00e9e sur la valeur&quot;, les cycles de mise en \u0153uvre longs et risqu\u00e9s et le verrouillage des fournisseurs\/les co\u00fbts de changement \u00e9lev\u00e9s. Cela rend difficile l&#039;adoption compl\u00e8te, m\u00eame pour les grandes entreprises, et compte tenu de cette dynamique, il est facile de comprendre comment les petites et moyennes entreprises ont \u00e9t\u00e9 essentiellement exclues de l&#039;opportunit\u00e9 IIoT.<\/p>\r\n<p>Malheureusement, dans Enterprise AR, je vois la m\u00eame dynamique se d\u00e9rouler. Les ventes et les POC \u00e0 friction \u00e9lev\u00e9e, combin\u00e9s \u00e0 de longs cycles de mise en \u0153uvre et \u00e0 des prix \u00e9lev\u00e9s, maintiendront Enterprise AR embourb\u00e9 dans la phase d&#039;adoption pr\u00e9coce. D\u00e9j\u00e0, les ventes de lunettes intelligentes pour l&#039;entreprise sont extr\u00eamement d\u00e9cevantes, signalant que le march\u00e9 se d\u00e9roule beaucoup plus lentement que ne l&#039;avaient pr\u00e9vu les analystes.
